Episode Episode 71: Skully Gully

Episode 71: Skully Gully

Murder, ghosts, witches, voodoo, lots of werewolves, and enough garage rock to choke Killer Klowns from Outer Space. For this year's tip of the cap to Halloween I've gone to the past looking for tales of grave robbers and monsters and was delightfully surprised at how many doo wop and jazz has been dedicated to the dark arts. While Ella Fitzgerald's "To Keep My Love Alive" ballad about killing off far too many husbands is easily the highlight of the playlist for me, there are plenty of more traditional Halloween tracks filling the hour.

Enjoy libations with freaks, pass out some candy, or dress up in something delightfully absurd and let this play in the background for your Halloween evening!
