Episode Guest DJs Episode 59: Red Right Hand

Episode 59: Red Right Hand

Much like any mutant alien clowns from outer space, we aim to please. Collaborating with Guest DJ Logan Ryan Smith yet again we've created Red Right Hand, the first ever Halloween episode. It's far more commercial, far more punk, and has more than a twinge of goof to it, but isn't that what Halloween's all about?

Other than the annual Christmapodtacular, there haven't been any holiday-specific episodes, but it just couldn't be helped this year. Has Ghostbusters been played out? Maybe, but you damn well know you love it. Every Halloween edition of anything ever has had Thriller on it. That's because it's fucking amazing. This episode is quite different from what's usually done on here, but just think of it as the Norman Bates of Some Kind of Jam and everything will be OK.

Should you get to the end of this hour and find it hasn't satiated your horrific desires, there are some gems leftover in Logan's Halloween Twenty-13 I, II, and III on Spotify. Namely some terrifying carnival music on II, and quite a few more lovlies from Roman Polanski's "The Fearless Vampire Killers" on III. Perhaps the best highlight is an 80s-rific John Carpenter track from Halloween III on Twenty-13 that would make Kavinsky, M83, or any other faux-80s hipsters wet the bed.
