Episode 26: EOTO Live at Papa Pete's

After many an in-studio visit and cross-promoted concert or three, I'm very happy to be working with the two-man traveling road show known as EOTO yet again. This time giving away a FREE pass to their October 3rd show at Bell's Brewery! All you have to do is "like" Some Kind of Jam on Facebook, and be one of the first 20 to tag yourself in THIS PICTURE. Boom bam. Done and done. The winner will be announced this weekend!

If you're unfamiliar with EOTO, they're this month's Featured Artist, giving you the opportunity to preview a song or two and read a little bit about their fall tour. If that's not quite enough and you crave more detail about their five year history, you can find it on their website, Facebook or Twitter. They're pretty much everywhere.

It's with all of this in mind that this entire episode is dedicated to these long time friends. A re-broadcast from the WIDR days including an interview with Jason Hann, this hour long set replays EOTO's first performance in Kalamazoo at Papa Pete's Taverna back in 2008. Because they make up their set from scratch every night, no two shows are the same and it's always interesting going back and listening to where their sound was that long ago. Since their first Papa Pete's performance they've become quite a bit more dub-step and hard driving, making the sound from 08 kind of a rarity.

Here's what you'll be listening to:

1. Kleener
2. Loaded
3. Canadian Flag
4. Security
5. Softy
6. March
7. Expand
8. Well Behaved
9. Park Drive
10. Monger
11. Uncle D.
12. Baby Boy
13. Headcase
14. King of Clubs
15. Notes From Dr. Dingle
16. Orange Handled Scissors
