OK, so one of the many New Years Resolutions here in Some Kind of Jam land is to NOT go two months without putting up a download for the fair listeners. Sorry about that. The good news, however, is that things have changed yet again and the mixes have gone back to the traditional format from the radio days. After doing some "studies" in
Afrobeat and
Bluegrass I've come to the conclusion that there are finite options and they take a damn long time to put together. All of that aside, variety is the spice of some sort of delicious stew you may not have tried yet.
The current mix doesn't have so much to do with the changing weather as it does with what's been in heavy rotation on my computer, in my head, or just something I think y'all will enjoy. Basically the mixes have gone back to the weekly format from the WIDR days. There will still be focused mixes from time to time, but losing the self-imposed restrictions should allow for more frequent downloads. I will say this is quite a bit of fun to listen to while walking down the street.
